It’s that time of year when the mornings are getting lighter, spring is in the air and there are some fantastic morning images available. While as a professional photographer using some of the best photographic equipment available is a necessity, it’s not always possible to capture fantastic images for personal use on such equipment. The weekly image is going to be shot every week on an i-phone 4, using the hipstamatic app available for down load from the app store. Now you may well be thinking “hang on a minute, why should I book a professional photographer for my shoot” why indeed. Well it is a very well known fact that it’s not the medium with which you are capturing images, it’s the ability, knowledge and what’s known as “having the eye for an image” that sets a professional photographer aside from the “wannabe” and indeed most amateur photographers.
It’s composition, framing, knowledge of lighting, and indeed, most of the time with lighting its knowing how to balance ambient light and artificial light, in other words daylight and flash. The aim of the image of the week is to demonstrate just why you should book a professional photographer for your event, portrait sitting, wedding or commercial photography. I do believe that capturing quality images time and time again is not something that you can learn (IMHO), it’s something right inside you. Yes the technical stuff can be learnt, but the eye for an image, the passion and the soul, comes from the heart.
I hope you enjoy this series of photos, please, feel free to leave comments and I will answer any that you leave.
Thanks Mark
